Welcome to Stone Hill Homes. My name is Branden Maggio and I am co-owner and co-founder with my long-time friend and business partner, Chris McGowan. We had a vision and built the business utilizing our strengths from previous career and life experiences. We have grown into an amazing team of skilled men and women who make the Stone Hill Homes vision a success.
I started working with my father-in-law, Frank A. Basile when I was 15 years old. Needing some guidance, he took me under his wing and put me to work. He instilled hard work, the importance of relationships and team building in me. We worked on residential additions, remodels and new builds as well as new commercial construction. The knowledge he imparted in me at a young age has stayed with me forever. Frank gave me a chance in my youth and our business believes in paying that forward. Our team is very important and is the foundation of our Stone Hill Homes family. Home building can be a very emotional process and we bring expertise and knowledge along with kindness, compassion and understanding.
In between working with Frank and starting Stone Hill Homes, I had a career in Law Enforcement. Through my career I became certified to teach at the Chautauqua County Sheriff's Police Academy as well as specializing in SWAT, Field Sobriety, DWI, Supervisory and Firearms Training. After retiring from Public Service, I shadowed a long time friend and local builder to re-acquaint myself with the construction world. Over several years, I learned day-to-day operations regarding new construction and remodels. With the many combined life experiences along with the guidance and help of family and friends, I have been brought back to my roots of construction. I am very proud to be here.
I believe the building process is fluid and each project takes shape based on the client’s wants, needs and budget. I work closely with the Project Manager, Designer and Team Leaders to implement the client’s vision and make it a reality. I have trust and faith in all members of our Stone Hill Homes family and I am in close contact during all levels of the project. I make it a priority to be accessible and involved with clients and the team to make the process as smooth as possible so we can all find success at the end.
